#Jimin dominated WW Trends + Topics during Dior Fashion Show

On January 20, Jimin made his first public appearance as DIOR’s Global Ambassador, having been invited to attend the giant luxury brand’s Men Fall-Winter 2023/2024 Fashion Show in Paris for #ParisFashionWeek. Needless to say, with his huge popularity, this became a memorable show for the brand, one that would go down in its history books owing to how big attendance was recorded. It can be argued that such a crowd was expected going by the splash that the news of Jimin’s global ambassadorship deal with DIOR made on social media and in media outlets, but still, the actual scenario surpassed such expectations and left onlookers speechless and in awe of his impact.

Jimin was the star of the show, the main attraction. In fact, following his attendance at the show, any search of Dior on Google would bring up only images and topics related to Jimin as the top results!

Looking at the overwhelming reception by the crowd and his being the focus of every attendee of the show, from media personnel to officials in the fashion industry, it was inevitable that he would dominate any talk related to the show.

He took over the worldwide trends immediately, occupying the top 4 worldwide trends among other rankings, with hashtags and keywords like

There were also similar hashtags and trends in the US and in South Korea, among other countries, with fans excitedly cheering for Jimin.

Overall, the event recorded 5 worldwide trends and over 233 trends in total, with more than 23 keywords appearing in over 87 countries and regions around the world.

Some of the terms associated with Jimin during the fashion show surpassed 1 MILLION mentions in under 24 hours, being the terms with the highest tweet volumes for the show.

Interest in Jimin peaked all through the day of his attendance of the show, and data collected from Google trends for the topic ‘DIOR‘ showed that Jimin was the ONLY PERSON in the most popular lists both for ‘Related Queries’ and ‘Related Topics.’ This means that he was the most searched individual in terms of any questions and/or topics pertaining to the show and to Dior in general. Proud of the publicity generated by their newest global ambassador signing, Dior posted pictures of Jimin during the show on their Twitter, YouTube and Instagram pages.

On Instagram the post surpassed 1 MILLION likes in just 13 hours, becoming the most liked post from the show.

On Twitter, the post took just 57 minutes to surpass 100,000 likes, ranking among the world’s most popular tweets at that given time! 

On YouTube, the Jimin post became the most liked post on Dior’s YouTube account in just a couple of days!

There is no denying that Jimin was THE event at the show, and he is proving to be arguably the most valuable investment the company has ever made.
