Teresa Roche becomes a nationally recognized artisan textile designer

Teresa Roche has very long been a wellknown title on Greenville’s Arts scene, but a short while ago that acclaim has absent nationwide.

She has blended her love of good artwork and layout in a collection of artisanal fabrics and wallcoverings encouraged by her paintings and other artistic influences.

The Teresa Roche Textiles collection was a short while ago incorporated on “The List,” House & Garden’s world wide listing of merchandise and companies for home style and design and decorating.

Every single fabric and wallpaper sample commenced as an unique painting. Roche describes the selection as “a fulfilling crush of colour and texture – at after playful and managed. These textiles have an expansive variety of pattern, from basketweave to summary florals to freeform circles.”

That description also suits Roche’s artwork, which spans from pure scenes, vegetation and bouquets to a great deal a lot more abstract and geometric kinds. She describes it as “sun-drenched southern imagery.”
