Ventura Hair Studio, in Market Bosworth , Leicestershire, took to their TikTok page @venturahairgroup to reveal the secret to properly cleaning your locks.
The important steps included making sure your hair is thoroughly wet before lathering your shampoo in your hands before applying.
The clip quickly racked up over 2.7 million views, nearly 140,000 likes and 800 comments.

The hairdresser uses a training mannequin head for the video demonstration and begins by making sure the hair is ‘thoroughly wet.’
Step two was to ‘lather your shampoo before applying to your hair’, while the next step was to scrub the product into your scalp and nape.
The next step reads: ‘Rinse and Shampoo again! Why? Because the first shampoo opens your hair cuticles and the second shampoo removes all the dirt and grease from the hair.’
